I have also added a volume control to the back of the cabinet. This is mounted using an existing hole sited directly above the power socket. I've not yet found a supplier of the five pin plug that the volume lead uses, so for the time being I have borrowed the one from the original control, that I have left in situ in the amp.
For the future, I am thinking of re-locating this to the side of the cabinet, mounting it under the overhang of the upper section, complete with a speaker selection switch and reject switch.

I found this Tannoy speaker on eBay and thought that it looked pretty cool and could make a decent extension speaker for the Chantal.
