This is the plate that supports the selection wheel and the cog that drives the chain for the turntable. It felt very rough when spinning the selector so I took it all appart. The selector support shaft has two bearings. A ball race that is a 1/4 x 3/4 x 7/16 open ball race, otherwise known as a KLNJ1/4 (same as the previous picture). This is at the top, at the bottom of the shaft is a needle roller bearing 9/16x3/4x5/8 known as a BA910ZOH (not yet removed). Both of these are very common bearings available for little cost. I have ordered replacements for them both.
